World-renowned adult star Riley Reid recently shared what bothers her the most about working in her chosen career.
At 33 years old, Reid has firmly established herself as one of the biggest names in the adult entertainment world.
She first stepped into the industry at just 19 years old, performing under the stage name Paige Riley.
Born Ashley Matthews in Miami, she has since gone on to win dozens of awards and was even inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame earlier this year, marking a major milestone in her career.
oday, Reid is married to Pasha Petkuns, a Latvian freerunner and social media personality. Together, they have one child, Emma, who was born in 2022.
Over the past few years, she has branched out beyond her work in front of the camera. Reid now runs her own social media management company called Ash Agency.
Through Ash Agency, she represents several of the biggest names in adult entertainment, including Angela White, Sky Bri, Kazumi, and Violet Myers.
She continues to create adult content too, but now mainly for her own website, steering clear of platforms like Pornhub or OnlyFans.
In a recent appearance on Ketone-IQ’s YouTube channel, Reid took part in a lively 12-minute interview—while jogging on a treadmill, no less!
Chatting with host Michael Brandt, the CEO of Ketone-IQ, she opened up about both the parts of the adult industry she loves and the parts she struggles with most.
“From like the type of arousal or their high kink fetishes. A regular person that you see, you don’t know their fetishes or what they’re interested in and their desires time.”

When it came to the part she dislikes the most, Reid didn’t hesitate. For her, the biggest problem isn’t the job itself—it’s the judgment that comes with it.
“It’s not the job itself but it’s society’s stigma towards people with my job title,” she explained.

During that chat, Reid revealed that before she ever entered the adult film world, she worked as a stripper. But as she explained, it didn’t exactly pay the bills.
“I made like zero money. I lost money because I’m basically super social and friendly and the guys would like hustle me because they’d be like, ‘Oh, she’s just going to talk to me and I don’t have to give her money’,” she recalled with a laugh.
Fast forward to today, Reid is now reportedly worth around $19 million (£15 million). It’s safe to say money is no longer something she has to stress about—for herself or for her family.
