“Entitled Mom Hijacked Our Delivery Spot and Insisted We ‘Work Around Her’ — Her Regret Hit Sooner Than Expected”

I’m Bob, a construction foreman working on a challenging project halfway up a steep hill. Since there’s no road access, we rely on just two clearly marked no-parking spots at the bottom of the hill to keep deliveries running smoothly.
One morning, a woman pulled up and parked her SUV right in one of those spots—completely ignoring the signs.
When I politely asked her to move so our lumber delivery could get through, she brushed me off and told me to “deal with it,” acting like the rules didn’t apply to her.
Minutes later, the delivery truck arrived, loaded with crucial materials. I asked her again to move, but she flat-out refused and insisted we just unload around her.
So, we did — but in a way she definitely didn’t expect. The truck driver carefully parked the big delivery truck so close to her SUV that she was completely boxed in, unable to open her driver’s door.
Trapped between the truck and a porta-potty nearby, she awkwardly climbed out of the passenger side, shouting at us to move the truck.
I explained that for safety reasons, we couldn’t move the truck while the load was unsecured. She flew into a rage, threatened to report us, and refused to cooperate.
Then, just as she tried to back out, parking enforcement showed up. In her frustration, she slammed into the porta-potty and got stuck on the curb.
The police arrived shortly after—and because she was driving recklessly with her child in the car, she was arrested on the spot.
Her son was safely picked up by his grandmother, and we finished unloading without any more interruptions.
That day, karma delivered a harsh lesson about entitlement—and our parking spots have stayed clear ever since.
